Kristen started her career in healthcare working with the geriatric population in 2003 at a Rehabilitation / Long Term Care Facility specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She continued her education and became a certified medicine aide in 2005 and continued working with the geriatric population until she took a position at a community hospital as a student nurse. Kristen completed nursing school in 2010 and accepted a position at a community hospital specializing in Medical-Surgical Care. During her career at Union Hospital, Kristen became the unit charge nurse and preceptor to all new nurses to the hospital. In 2013 Kristen successfully completed her Medical-Surgical certification and continued to serve on leadership committees within the hospital.

Kristen joined the CarpeVITA Home Care Team in 2022 as a nurse consult, and in 2023, was promoted to Clinical Director for the company.

Kristen is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in nursing. In her free time, Kristen enjoys time with her children and has completed a 300-hour yoga instructor course.
